Project Overview

Installation Process
Following an initial survey and bespoke system design, our installation team elevated full access scaffolding before installing the solar array using the Van der Valk South Pro+ mounting system.
The 21 AIKO Neostar 3S Generation 3 panels were carefully positioned to maximise energy production while maintaining a clean, symmetrical finish across the roof.
Inside the property, we installed a 12kW Sigenergy Hybrid Inverter alongside a 6kWh battery, creating an intelligent energy management system capable of directing power between the home, battery, solar array and grid automatically.
To complete the installation, we fitted a 7kW Sigenergy AC EV Charger, fully integrating vehicle charging into the same smart energy ecosystem.
As with every Optimum Electrics solar installation, our in-house team managed the required DNO notifications and supplied the homeowner with all commissioning documentation, warranties and certification following completion.
